This is Tischler & Halpern Reserve Tokaji Édes Szamorodni 2015 Tokaj - Protected Origin Wine. Szamorodni is the traditional late harvest wine of the Tokaji Wine Region. The clusters of the noble honey-sweet Furmint and Zéta varieties were hand-selected and processed under controlled, traditional conditions. The wine matured in barrels for a year in a cellar carved into the rock. Its fresh, fruity flavors are made even more harmonious by the spicy, dried fruit notes resulting from the maturation. It is an excellent accompaniment to desserts, cheeses, pâtés, and white meats.
